Te Manatū Waka have now released their Gender and Ethnic Pay Gap Action Plan Report 2022-2023. The plan was developed collaboratively by Human Resources Team and our Gender and Ethnic pay working group, (with engagement from the Public Service Association and our Wāhine network).
This plan sets out details of our gender and ethnic pay gaps, the drivers behind it, and the actions we’ll take to support closing this gap and more broadly Te Kawa Mataaho three-year goals:
Building off our previous Action Plans 2020 – 2021 and incorporating Kia Toipoto’s six milestones, we have strengthened our detailed action plan for the year ahead. Actions from the plan will be incorporated into our wider Diversity and Inclusion programme and progress will be regularly monitored.
By putting Kia Toipoto into action, agencies and Crown entities can achieve the expectations set out in the Public Service Act 2020 and the Government Workforce Policy Statement 2021.
