Commissioning and working with other agencies to produce research and reports that may lead to policy changes to reduce harmful vehicle emissions from road transport.

Reducing greenhouse gas emissions from transport.

Informing the Government’s strategic approach to reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from road freight in New Zealand.

Reducing harmful ship emissions that affect the climate and public health.

Addressing carbon dioxide emissions from the international aviation sector through the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA).

Understanding and measuring transport costs and charges.
